CGPA Calculator: SGPA to CGPA and Percentage

Free CGPA calculator for semester students: enter your grade points and credits to get your CGPA and percentage, or convert your semester SGPAs into one CGPA. Everything runs in your browser - nothing is stored or sent anywhere.

1. CGPA from courses (grade points + credits)

Add one row per course. Grade point on a 10-point scale (for example O = 10, A+ = 9), credits as per your syllabus.

Course (optional)Grade point (0-10)Credits

CGPA = sum of (grade point x credits) / total credits. Percentage uses the common CGPA x 9.5 multiplier; check your university's own conversion rule if it publishes one.

2. CGPA from semester SGPAs

Enter your SGPAs separated by commas, in semester order. Example: 8.2, 8.6, 9.0

This averages all SGPAs equally. If your semesters carry different credits, use section 1 with each semester as one row instead.

How CGPA works

CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) is the credit-weighted average of your grade points across courses or semesters. A course with more credits pulls the average more. SGPA is the same idea for a single semester; CGPA combines semesters.

Studying for exams too? Our DBMS Important Questions Unit Wise with Answers and the full Exam Notes hub pair well with this tool.
